Since there are so many Ravenclaw's in this forum, I thought I'd try my hand at making a poll for this...
In the books, Ravenclaw's colors are blue and bronze. However, in the movies, they're blue and silver. So, out of idle curiosity, which do you prefer? (Even if you're not a Ravenclaw.)
Feel free to reply and comment on your votes too, if you like.

Oi. I prefer the Silver and Blue of the movies, cause it makes more sense to me. Think of it, two house share a Silver and two house share Gold. Silver and Gold are opposites. Sticking bronze in there is kinda leaving one sort of the odd man out. ~Weslyn.

Aroen, I admire your fashion sense. Very risqué. *grin* I hadn't thought of the bronze conflict, Weslyn, but that makes sense. Oh yeah: Yay! Somebody started talking on my thread!

*thinks for a moments*
Shh! Because they are!
It's kinda that whole song... Sillver and Gold... "One is Silver and the other's Gold" Besides, can you really think of any other opposite?

Yes, I understand the lyrics of the song... Hmm, perhaps "opposite" really isn't the correct word. I s'pose it's more that Gold and Silver just seem to go together. Like siblings or something. There's just a relation there...
Or maybe it's like if you were to play a game of opposites and someone says black, the other would respond with white... but if someone said apple, what would you reply...? Orange? Banana? So if someone says Gold...? Wouldn't you think to reply with Silver?
Silly boy... don't argue colors with an artist.

Tell you what. How about the ChemE takes the silver and engineers some catalytic chemical process, and the Bio major takes the gold and coats some bacteria. Then it'll all be a moot point.

Um... wow... I have no idea what you just said... and how does all that make it a moot point? Color ~ Art. I win. Ha.

*bows to the master*
That was my poor attempt at humor involving scientific processes... I just meant take away the physical silver and gold, and there's nothing left to argue about. Clearly though, I am outmatched. *bows in humble acknowledgement* The artist has yet again proven herself to have a superior grasp of color.
